Who We Are

Metropolitan Bricklaying was founded in 2022, but bricklaying runs four generations deep in our family. It started with our great-grandfather in Sicily, in Giardini Naxos, near Calatabiano, the town our surname comes from, passed down to our grandfather and his brothers, then our father, and now us. Multiple family members are still on the tools today, qualified tradesmen with real hands-on experience, not just a family name on the door.

Today that means two things: architectural brick and blockwork for high-end residential builds across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore and Inner West, and defect and warranty rectification for builders managing masonry callbacks. Same finish standard on both, whether it's a full facade or a single cracked wall.
